Information you provide
When you contact us by phone or email or submit a service request, you provide information such as your name, contact details, service address, company name where applicable, and information about your garage door or planned project. Messages and attachments you choose to send may contain additional information. Please include only information relevant to your request.
This information allows us to respond, confirm the service location, understand the problem or project, discuss options, and arrange the next step. Your request is not an anonymous message: the contact details you provide allow us to follow up.
Online requests and Jobber
Our online service-request form is provided by Jobber. Information entered and submitted through that form is processed through Jobber and made available to our business for handling your request. The form asks for contact and service-address information and includes communication preferences.
The form displays terms for visit reminders and other transactional text messages. It also provides a separate marketing-text checkbox and a marketing-email checkbox. Review these choices before submitting. The displayed instructions allow you to reply STOP to cancel text messages, STOP MKT to stop marketing texts, and unsubscribe from marketing emails.

Website measurement, cookies, and advertising tools
The website loads Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel. These tools can use cookies and similar identifiers to collect information about visits, pages viewed, browser or device characteristics, and interactions with the website. Google Analytics provides website-usage measurement. Meta Pixel supports measurement of website activity and advertising-related uses of that activity by Meta.
Google Tag Manager is used to load website tags. It is a tag-management tool; the tools loaded through it have their own data practices. Meta describes its use of information from other businesses and available controls in its United States Regional Privacy Notice.
The production website also loads GoDaddy’s website-metrics script. GoDaddy describes its hosting metrics and related processing in its Real User Metrics information and Privacy Notice.
Google Maps and the Amarr door designer
The website embeds Google Maps to show our location. Loading or interacting with an embedded map connects your browser to Google, which can receive technical information about that interaction and use cookies under its own privacy practices.
The garage door designer is an embedded Amarr tool. When you use it, information you enter, including door dimensions, design selections, and a home photo you choose to upload, is handled through the Amarr tool. Its privacy practices are described in the Amarr Privacy Policy. Saving a design in that tool and sending it to Dan’s are separate actions; if you send us your design, we can use it to discuss your project.
Information shared through these services
Submitting the Jobber form sends information to Jobber as well as making it available to our business. Emailing us sends your message through email services. Embedded tools and measurement tags connect your browser to the providers described above. Those providers receive information needed to operate their tools, and their policies explain their own processing. These connections are separate from information you choose to provide directly to Dan’s.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can contact us by phone or email instead of using the embedded request form. Your browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies, although doing so can affect embedded tools. Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on; it applies to Analytics measurement and does not disable all website tools or advertising technologies. Meta provides privacy and advertising controls through its own services.
